Yeah, yeah, Google Street View is a lot of fun. But here’s one way it could actually be useful

We've been driving each other nuts today, haven't we? "Have you seen that girl peeing behind a car?" "Look at that wally being sick in the street!" "OMG - is he walking into a sex shop?!"
But enough already. Here's the first company I've heard of that's actually doing something useful with Street View. ParkatmyHouse.com is a site that allows property owners to rent unused driveways, garages or car parks to other drivers. They've just integrated Street View, so you can now show prospective tenants your space before they commit to renting it.
